Brief Description of Project & Architecture


OpenQ is a major breakthrough in multimedia customer management system. It is a Multimedia Content Management and Digital Signage Solution, integrate with Queue Management System using LCD/ LED TV. It allows you to deliver targeted advertising and promotional campaigns to your customers in a dynamic and attractive way, while keeping them updated with the latest Queuing Information. Calling Display consists of the ticket counter and on-screen monitor with notification alarm at Teller/Counter.

It is not a tool just designed to solve queue congestion but faster & efficient way for customer service with its non-linear system.

It runs on windows environment, from Windows 98 to current Windows version. It does not need expensive databases nor dedicated servers. It uses server-client technology. The application is so light and it does not hamper nor contribute network traffic.

OpenQ does not only allow effective customer service but analysis of the daily customer service transactions for an improved company performance.

This is the heart of the entire queuing system. This manages the multimedia display that includes the sound and voice alert.

This is a managers module. This controls the entire system including video display. This allows branch manager to generate report and statistics that includes;

  • Numbers of customer tickets, actual waiting times by service category.
  • Serving times with waiting time profiles.
  • Average and maximum service/wait times.

Touch Kiosk

Ticket Dispenser / Touch Kiosk

Uses numeric keypad as Standard Basic package or thru Touch Kiosk at an option. When a customer arrives, he/she should get a ticket first and wait. The customer will then be put into a queue. This does two things;

  • First, it takes customers out of a wait-line scenario and places them in a comfortable, sitting environment.
  • Secondly, it tells our queuing system that someone is waiting for a particular category of service and begins tracking the customer wait time.
